Greetings from the Admissions Office at St. Anne’s!
We are delighted that you are considering St. Anne’s as an option for your child’s education. Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. Carefully evaluating all of the options that are available will assist you in making the best possible decision for your child and your family. The National Association of Independent Schools has a great article about choosing an independent school. At St. Anne’s, we are committed to our mission of enhancing the intellectual, spiritual, physical, social and artistic growth of our students.
The application process begins with a visit to our school. You may attend one of our scheduled Open Houses or call to schedule a tour. Open Houses begin in early October; please visit our website often to find out about tours and other opportunities to visit our campus.
An application, interview, and age-appropriate evaluation are all part of the admissions process. We will begin to accept applications for all grades, Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, starting in September. The application deadline for the first round of admissions decisions is January 1st. After that date, applications are accepted only where space is available. We follow the state of Delaware’s age requirements for our Pre-Kindergarten program. Applicants must turn four by August 31st of the enrollment year to be eligible. The first round of admissions decisions are mailed to families in March, along with financial aid decisions, when applicable.
