The Annual Fund is an integral part of the yearly budget at St. Anne’s. Each year, endowment earnings and the Annual Fund help to cover the costs that are not covered by tuition dollars. The actual costs to fund a student at St. Anne’s are nearly $2,500 more than actual tuition costs. Therefore, the Annual Fund helps contribute to every part of the St. Anne’s mission! It helps to: - facilitate dynamic teaching and professional growth - support academic and social growth of more than 326 students - provide financial aid dollars to families in need - encourage our students to achieve greatness and to give of themselves Why give to the Annual Fund? When you give to the Annual Fund at St. Anne’s, you support a dynamic educational program within a nurturing, beautiful environment. You support innovative teaching and professional development opportunities. You support outstanding teachers who encourage students to achieve their best as members of an academic and social community. Gifts to the Annual Fund are fully tax-deductible and all gifts are welcome, no matter how large or small. High levels of participation prove to other foundations and corporations the community’s dedication to our school which helps to secure larger gifts from other sources. The endowment and tuition income cover only a part of St. Anne’s expenses. When you give to St. Anne’s, you are making a powerful statement about what St. Anne’s has given you and your family. What will you give? Please consider your gift to the Annual Fund at St. Anne’s and help preserve the legacy of the school forever. However much you give, each dollar makes a difference at St. Anne’s every day. There are many gift opportunities. Our gift levels are as follows: St. Anne’s Circle $10,000 or more Founders’ Friends $5,000-$9,999 Head of School Society $2,500-$4,999 Silver Lake Alliance $1,000-$2,499 The Heron Club $500-$999 Benefactors $250-$499 Contributors $100-$249 Donors $1-$99 How can you give? There are many ways to give to the Annual Fund! You can… • write a check to the school • make a payment on your credit card • give a gift of securities • designate a matching gift through your employer • donate your Delaware State Transportation Reimbursement; a payment the state offers private school children. A form is required and information is available in the Development Office. You can also participate in our fundraising events, which vary year after year. We hosted a golf tournament this fall and will host a gala auction in the spring. Dollars earned at these events support the Annual Fund and sponsorships are always available!
