Here are some reasons to consider St. Annes Episcopal School:
A dynamic, thoughtful guiding mission
The mission of St. Annes Episcopal School is to prepare students for secondary education and lifelong learning. We strive to enhance the intellectual, spiritual, physical, social and artistic growth of our students so that they may realize their potential for good as citizens of local and world communities. These words guide us in many of our decisions and set a noble goal for all that we do.
Small teacher/student ratio and class size
St. Annes current enrollment is 326 students spread among the 10 grades. The overall student/teacher ratio is 6:1. Smaller classes allow for more individual attention, more directive teaching and faster growth.
Commitment to diversity and active civic participation
We seek bright motivated students and families from diverse backgrounds. Every year, more than $400,000 is given in financial aid awards to students of need. The importance of civic participation is evident in many facets of the program and numerous service learning projects.
A challenging, engaging curriculum
The academic program is geared to prepare students for a rigorous high school experience. All St. Annes students participate in art, music, computer, Spanish, religion, science, and PE in addition to their other academic subjects. Emphasis is balanced between learning of content and training children how to be successful students. This year 55% of our students qualified for Johns Hopkins Scholars Program based on ERB percentile scores of 95% or better. Recent graduates report that they are well-prepared for their secondary experience.

A spiritual component
At St. Annes, we celebrate daily devotions in each classroom and weekly chapel services together as a community, either inside or outside, with various speakers, prayer and song.
