Parent Education on February 26th with Allison Banbury

Please join us for an informative evening with Allison Banbury, our school counselor.  She will be addressing the topic of "Understanding and Supporting Today's Anxious Child," followed by a Q&A session.  Allison's presentation will be of interest to parents and caregivers of any age child, and especially children ages 2 - 15.

 

WHAT:  "Understanding and Supporting Today's Anxious Child" presented by Allison Banbury, M.Ed

WHEN: Monday, February 26th @ 6:00-7:30pm  

WHERE: St. Anne's Library

This event is free and open to the public.  The deadline to register for child care during the event has passed; we are at capacity!

Allison holds an M.Ed from the College of William and Mary and is licensed as a Professional Counselor of Mental Health in the State of Delaware. She is currently the Dean of Students at M.O.T. Charter where she and her colleague have recently implemented a K-8 mindfulness curriculum to assist both students and teachers with focus, emotional regulation, and awareness. Previous experience includes having been a school counselor at Garrison Forest School and at West Nottingham Academy, a dorm parent at St. Andrew's, and running her own practice at Wellbeing on Main in Middletown. Allison provides counseling to children at St. Anne's on Monday afternoons.
