Performing Arts

St. Anne’s comes together as a community to celebrate the performing arts throughout the year. Through music, drama, public speaking, our students expand their skills and share their budding talents.

Every week we sing as part of chapel service; anyone who joins us for this event will long remember the joy of the students’ voices. Chapel is also an opportunity for public speaking, such as the first grade’s annual Martin Luther King presentation, the fourth grades instructed Eucharist, or Middle School’s production of biblical skits.

In the spring and prior to the winter break, all students participate in our Spring and Christmas concerts. The concerts are divided by age, with one production for preschool to first grade performances, and a separate concert for our second through eighth grades performers. We also come together as a school to enjoy the talents of our middle schoolers for the fall play and the spring talent show.

ERB Comprehensive Testing Results from Fall of 2015:

56% of our students in grades 5-8 scored in the 95th percentile (or higher) on one or more of the qualifying ERB subtests and were invited to participate in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) selection process.
