Things to Know for Conferences
Posted 04/13/2018 11:01AM

We look forward to welcoming our parents to parent-teacher conferences next week.  Here are a few reminders:

  • Extended Care is available for St. Anne's students during your conference time.  Check-in is in the dining room.

  • Middle School Conferences - With the support of their advisors, Middle School students will lead their own learning and growth presentations and should dress "professionally."  They may wear their regular school uniform or more formal attire. Many students use Google Slide presentations to highlight their achievements this school year. Their presentations will also include areas of improvement and how parents and teachers can support their goals for the remainder of the school year.

  • Lower School conferences - Your child's teacher will be meeting with you and leading your discussion.  During this time they will show how much growth students have made academically, socially, and emotionally from the beginning of the year until now.  Your teacher will also discuss goals for the remainder of the year including needed practice with a specific skill.  For students who may need some support,  it is an opportunity to provide resources to parents so that their child can receive additional help over the summer.  Most importantly, spring conferences are a time for talk about what's next for the last few months of school as well as the moving to the next grade.  Please feel free to bring questions or email them ahead of time to your child's teacher.  It is also an opportunity for you to communicate any information which may impact your child's learning and wellbeing.

  • Head of School Welcomes You - Mr. Thayer will be available to meet with families on both days if you would like to meet with him to talk about next year, our strategic planning process, the capital campaign, or anything else that is on your mind. Please contact Heather Walls at ext 341 or hwalls@stannesde.org to schedule a time.

  • Lost and Found

Please visit the two locations in the school and see if any items might belong to your child.
